12:12 2016 Meet Tyler

December 3, 2016

“After two years filled with physical therapy and ongoing knee pain attributed to a football injury, Tyler was finally diagnosed with Stage IV Ewing’s Sarcoma in the fall of 2008 at the age of 16. Since that time, Tyler has completed harsh chemotherapy as part of front line treatment, limb salvage surgery that included a knee replacement, titanium hip, femur replacement, a partial lung removal, a stem cell transplant and about 90 days of radiation. He has spent over 1000 days in the hospital in Georgia. He is currently participating in a Clinical Trial in Dallas, Texas, as he continues the fight. Being a young adult fighting cancer can often be very isolating.  Not being an older adult or a young child, this age group faces a different set of challenges than most others fighting such a serious illness. Tyler has endured more in 8 years than most will in a lifetime, but still manages to be a trooper as he paves the way for other relapsed fighters. Tyler loves music, his MAC, DJing, music festivals, and flying his drone.”
Please consider donating to our 12/12 Campaign to fund Ewing’s Sarcoma RESEARCH - to help Tyler and too many other young warriors.  https://www.1million4anna.org/donate-1212
